CARDINAL BASEBALL CAMPS
Code of Conduct
December Holiday Session | December 21–23, 2026 | Pocatello, Idaho
Cardinal Baseball Camps is built on one idea: every player should leave camp a better ballplayer and a better teammate. This code explains what we expect from players, parents and guardians, and our staff. By checking the Code of Conduct box when you register, you confirm that you and your player have read and agree to it.
What we expect from players
- Be respectful. Treat coaches, staff, teammates, other campers, and facility staff with respect. Listen when a coach is speaking and follow directions the first time.
- Play with effort and sportsmanship. Give your best effort, encourage teammates, and handle wins and losses with class. Mistakes are part of learning, so we cheer for effort.
- Be kind. Bullying, teasing, name-calling, hazing, and physical aggression are not allowed, in person or online.
- Be safe. Use equipment only as instructed. Swing bats only in designated areas, wear a helmet when batting and running the bases, and stay in the areas coaches have set for camp. Tell a coach right away if you are hurt or not feeling well.
- Take care of our space. Take care of the facility and all equipment, follow the facility’s rules, and clean up after yourself.
- Keep devices away. Keep phones and other devices put away during instruction and games. Do not take photos or video of other campers without their permission.
- Stay substance- and weapon-free. Tobacco, vaping, alcohol, illegal drugs, and weapons are not allowed at camp.
Arrival, pickup, and what to bring
- Check-in opens at 8:00am and camp runs 9:00am to 3:00pm.
- Please arrive on time and have an authorized adult pick up your player at the end of the day, unless you have told us on the registration form that your player may leave on their own.
- Players should bring a glove, a water bottle, and athletic clothes. Camp provides bats and helmets. Lunch can be purchased for $10 per day or brought from home.
What parents and guardians can do
- Be positive and supportive of every player, coach, and staff member.
- Bring questions or concerns to camp staff privately, not during instruction or in front of players, and email us at camps@cardinalbaseballcamps.com anytime.
- Make sure the registration form is complete and up to date, especially health information and emergency contacts.
Our commitment to your player
- Our coaches will treat every player with respect, teach with positive coaching, and keep the focus on learning and fun.
- Staff will supervise players closely and keep interactions with players open and observable.
- We will respond promptly to any concern a player or family brings to us.
If a problem comes up
Most issues can be handled with a reminder or a quick conversation. If a problem continues, staff will talk with the player and contact a parent or guardian. For serious or repeated issues, or any behavior that puts the safety of others at risk, a player may be sent home or removed from camp. A player removed from camp for conduct is not eligible for a refund or camp credit.
